Autumn is my favorite season. I know that the days are getting shorter, that it is not so warm, that it rains every second day and that there is less and less desire to be outside. But the colors.. The colors of autumn are a spectacle. They are warm, cozy and relaxing. This is why I also love to wear the colors of autumn! And if I will ever do a styling session, and I will be told that I should be wearing cold shades instead of warm.. I will not take it well. I know.
I am lucky to have a park near my home, so even during this new lockdown I can still go for walks among the yellow and orange leaves of the grove. A good excuse to wear some new ins that I bought before quarantine, and that are perfect for both fall and winter!
First of all, I bought this super warm 100% wool sweater from Uniqlo. It has a very soft texture and does not pinch the skin, remaining, on the contrary, super soft. And above all it’s super warm! I wore it with my new (synthetic) leather pants from Zara. They are leggings that fit like a glove, the polyester inside makes them quite warm (but be careful that you will sweat indoors and I am not joking! Keep it in mind if you want to wear them for a – future – dinner at friends’ house). On top of it, a long and heavy ton sur ton coat, by Nicholas, to layer up. The animalier touch is a must, and to complete the look I also wore my new adorable bucket bag by Staud. It’s really comfy, the large mouth allows you to easily throw anything in there, but the laces also allow you to close the bucket for extra security. The shoes? My beloved black booties. Those booties are indeed made for walking, I am telling y’all! And also, the new “fashion rules” want the shoes to not match the top or the bag.. And I do like this a lot.
Leather trousers are a season must, and I am finding them comfortable but also edgy and cool, so that they can give any look that touch that would make even the most basic look, more grit! And you, do you have any leather trouser in your wardrobe? Do you like them?
