I rediscovered the joy of going to the park. Alone, in silence, among the trees. I have never been a fan of walking like in this time of isolation. Well, it must be said that the woods here, in autumn, win hands down. The array of thick, dense red leaves on the ground, contrasting with the paleness of the tree trunks, is a panorama that saddens and warms at the same time. But maybe you weren’t aware of my passion for the woods, did you? I just did the last 3 shoots there, but shhhh.
Today a perfect look for any occasion. Sunday brunch with friends, work outfit, even dinner at a friend’s house. The English Factory dress (there are also other colors!) looks like a shirt-dress with a sweater on it, I know I had fallen for it too (yes of course) but in reality it is a one-piece! I don’t know about you but I hate wearing long-sleeved shirts under light sweaters because it annoys me and I feel congested, then it takes me ages to put on the sleeves through the sweater. Instead, here I have my arms free and loose, I have the possibility to wear my thermal underwear, but the final multi-layer effect is still adorable!
I combined this rather preppy dress, with Paris Texas knee-high boots in chestnut-toned snake skin leather, to give the gritty touch (I am in love for life with these boots). If you are also interested, pay attention to the height of the leg: to me, who are 165cm, the leg of the boot ends exactly in the middle of the knee, so I preferred to put an insole inside to get up a little and bend the leg better. For those who are only a few cm taller than me: very comfortable boots!!
Bag? Gifted by .. my great boyfriend who knows my tastes and knows that I was looking at this Polène even before it was fashionable among bloggers and it was filmed in an episode of Emily in Paris! I am farsighted! Eheh. Seriously, I find the bag super capacious (it has buttons inside that can “shrink” or “enlarge” the bag as needed) but it is also original and super elegant. And the color? Autumn leaves.
