Often the idea of staying at home is associated with despair and mortal boredom. What do I do at home all day? In this difficult period, it is the best thing we can do, for ourselves and for others. And you know what? This moment of “imprisonment” is also giving us the possibility to do all those things that we could not do due to lack of time. And if we think we can no longer do others, we are wrong. I leave you some advice and I’ll tell you what I’m actually doing.
Even if you cannot go out for your morning run, even if the gyms are closed, those who had a rhythm, a routine, must not give in to laziness. There are so many things you can do at home, and you don’t even need too much equipment! Exercising helps you not only to maintain your silhouette and muscle tone, but also to improve posture, destroyed by a sedentary life and from working on your PC all those hours without stopping. It also improves your mood a lot and gives you a boost of energy! For example, every morning I follow some live videos of PTs that are sharing their routine on Instagram, more also on Youtube. And if you decided to give yourself to workouts for the first time during this quarantine.. how about some shopping for workout clothes?
Learn new healthy recipes
During working days, the temptation to open a can of tuna and mix it with salad, is strong. Also how easy it is to defrost a hamburger and go, or worse, order takeaways every evening. STOP! You have a lot of time to spend at home, why not try some new and healthy, as well as tasty, recipes? The alternatives out there are many, and many people who, always on Instagram, shows everyone the dishes they cook every day.
Dress well… even with home clothes!
Staying at home without seeing a living soul if not the neighbor who comes out to slam the carpet on the balcony, the temptation to let go is a behind the corner. But no! Dressing well helps not only the mood when you go out, but also inside the house! So if you pass in front of the mirror by mistake … you won’t get scared. And what will you do if your colleague wants to have a meeting on Skype with webcam included? You don’t necessarily have to walk around the house in a suit, but a nice jumpsuit set is also enough to stay warm and comfortable, without looking sloppy. Beauty routine level max
You already have your beauty routine (if you haven’t … shame on you!). This is the time to continue and intensify it! You have all the time in the world available so go ahead for: face masks, hair masks, detox scrubs, bandages, salt baths and whatever you want! You will come out of the quarantine more beautiful than before.
Read (or listen) a book!
With all this free time, you have no more excuses for not finishing that book that has been on your bedside table for months. Or you can give yourself to “fashion” reading, that is, buy books on fashion that are so beautiful that they are godlike on the coffee table in the living room. But, if you are like me, who just don’t stop for a reading, how about listening to a book? Sites like Audible have a 30-day free trial, cool uh?
