Given my passion for snake print, I couldn’t avoid to fall in love with this snake print bodycon dress when I saw it in Primark! It’s definitely cheap and chic, and it’s not a see-through even if it’s super light. It’s also super stretch so it adjusts on any silhouette!
Bodycon dresses per se perfectly marry night looks. They are sexy, mark the silhouette and they rock with statement necklace and heels. This dress has a high neckline (love it) and has light colors, in brown shades, and thus I decided to wear it in a daylight look. With the waist belt (that you already saw HERE and HERE) and the light suede boots (HERE and HERE), the look becomes more “sporty”, let’s say. The light trench and the lovely clutch with all the shades of the outfit, are the perfect frame for the entire look. On my head, the captain hat that was so trendy last season, but that I still love.
When you wear such bodycon dresses, you need to mind your lingerie. Always choose seamless and light pants (so you don’t see the contour under the dress!) and if you can, opt for nude colors, so you won’t see through. I always do that (even to not mark those fat protuberances over the hip…). If you are really uncomfortable with this silhouette, I would recommend trying contenitive pants. All the big brands have a model (even Primark has a cheap but functional one). They help a lot in the belly and hip zones, I can guarantee!
What do you think? Would you wear a snake print bodycon dress in daylight?
