Summer has arrived. Yes, even in Ireland. Even if, on the one hand, we do not know if and how long it will last, we are all excited at the idea of having some sun and “warm” weather. That wonderful temperature that makes you feel good with a light jacket, without the aura of the 40 degrees in Milan. I took the opportunity to bring out my summer gear and I created this look.
The maxi dress animalier is used to protect yourself from the evening breeze. The leopard-print motif, well, it’s cool and I love it, and it’s still a trend of the moment. This dress is wide and can be worn quietly as a soft costume-cover without too many frills, being also sleeveless. I’ve made it more “feminine” by adding my usual beloved waist belt that marks the waistline and makes the silhouette more graceful.
With the maxi dress animalier, I paired a short jacket in pink jeans and my beloved Gucci in powder shades, which reproduces a little the colors of the jacket. Given the soft tones, I wore red ankle boots that were a little more aggressive to give that extra touch to the look – in the end, I was going downtown, not to the sea, hehe. The straw hat screams “it’s summer” and it suited the look well.
What about this look? In my opinion it is perfect for all body shapes and occasions, and allows you to stay cool and at ease from morning to night! (and it is also at a discount from New Look!).
