A maxi dress is a wise chiose that every woman should have in their wardrobe. They fit everyone, they are super feminine and they can hide painful parts of our body. You can wear a maxi dress with flats and sandals – if you are like super tall and skinny – or with heeled boots or booties if you are petite (yes, like me). You can wear a maxi dress straight to hide your belly or the hips (imagine how good would it be after a Sunday lunch with family, when you are bloated) or you can make it more trendy pointing the attention on your décolleté or your waist.
I bought this baroque mix-and-match printed dress on SheIn and it was love at first sight! The length is just right for me (yes, you see the ankles!) and from the height of my 165cm I can say that the dress is also fluttering a lot! I decided to wear heeled light boots – yes, the same as this post – and a statement belt to mark the waist, to move up the body center and give the illusion that I am taller (yes, illusion).
I completed the whole look with bohemian accessories, so countryside (I am fixed in this period): Wide brim hat (the same one, I love it so much in spring!) and a more chic bag to match the overall pink shades of the dress.
Do you like the look? If you want to buy my same maxi dress (but there are plenty of them more on SheIn) you can use the code onceupontime at checkout, on a minimum purchase of 59€, so you can have 15% off!! Cool, uh?
PS here, where I shot those pics, in Dublin, there is a lovely restaurant facing the canal. The name is Angelina’s, and I recommend it for Brunch if you are around! The location is top!
