I am not super tall, nor that skinny. So, when I have to buy trousers, I always try to buy them with the highest waist, to move the middle point a little bit up to slimmer the silhouette and appear taller. I fell in love with those animalier trousers in snake print that I found in Zara. They are skinny and comfy, chic and high waisted, and they are not too tight so I can breathe! My problem is that sometimes I find jeans that appear super tights around the thighs but then loose around the waist. I bought a size up and they are just perfect for my body! I love the print: snake print in the shades of cream color. What else?
High waist animalier jeans: how to wear them!
If I remember well, Zara has the same model in plain color and leopard print. I really need to go back in store to check other colors as well because I love this model so much! And it’s also really cheap! (like usual jeans in Zara). Sometimes I love to wear statement trousers, to build a plain look around them. Like this time, my animalier jeans are the masterpiece of the look, and I paired them to cream sweater and cream shearling (from Levi’s). At my feet, laced boots with wide and high heel (to slimmer more and more my legs). On my head, a creamy pink hat with the same tones of the bag. To make the look even more particular, I put heart shaped sunglasses, funny uh? This is also a storm-proof outfit (yes, we had storm Erik visiting Ireland in the past few days, skirts were completely unwearable).
Do you like fantasy print trousers? Would you dare with animalier jeans? I believe that, wore in this way, with simple-color garments (even with the evergreen “black”) they can be a very easy piece to style, and they would fit everyone. What do you think?
