This is the look I wore the night of my birthday for a dinner out (more than one week ago now) and it includes two of the most trendy pieces of this season: the jumpsuit (in this case in velvet) and the plush coat. The result is a super warm and chic look!
This jumpsuit i cheap and chic and I got it from Primark (here in Dublin, unfortunately it is only available in Ireland, UK, Belgium, Germany and Netherlands) so I would recommend to take a visit to Primark into consideration if you are planning to visit one of these countries for a weekend out soon. It costs around 20€ and it’s super cute, striped with the colors of this winter: Fuchsia, blue and burgundy. The trousers are wide and short (ankle long) and they are perfect for those who have not-so-skinny thighs and to let you streamline the silhouette with ankle boots – like I did, in velvet, ton-sur-ton. I left the knotted belt that was coming with the suit, but you can go crazy using your own belt or – why not- wearing a belt bag. If you are not able to visit one of those countries soon, you can find similar pieces HERE and HERE.
Jumpsuits are a must have now, especially during sales, they are a wise purchase to do. They are very versatile: you can wear them by night (like I did) or for daytime. I already imagine myself wearing this suit with a turtleneck underneath and lower-heeled shoes to go to work, or with an oversize cropped sweater to wear the suit as normal palazzo pants.
I bought the plush coat HERE and it’s super warm and soft. It’s perfect over a skinny and light look, like i styled it, because it gives an “oversize” effect of the same, but it’s also super cool buttoned up with a belt on the waist. Now, more and more shops are proposing those kind of plush coats in any color (for example HERE and HERE) so I recommend you to have a look around!
So, did you like the look? Do you have any suit in your wardrobe yet? Have a nice day!
