This is the period of weddings. Not only Ferragnez’s but also friends, acquaintances or simply people that I follow on social media. All this love confused me a bit, but seeing all those fabulous, dreamy and very elegant white dresses, made me dream about one for too. And no, I’m not getting married, don’t worry – first, the day of the universal judgment must come – but I wanted to wear a white dress too. Combined with red: passion red, devil red, bloody red, or simply a trendy color that never goes out of fashion! And here’s my look!
White and red: little white dress with lace and nude back
The little white dress is a purchase of this summer, in fact, but given the fresh Irish breeze and the atrocious Italian heat, I’ve never been able to wear it. Since Ireland seems to have give us the possibility to enjoy some lukewarm day, I was able to wear it, matching red accessories. The captain’s hat is a trend of the past season but has already been re-proposed in the fall winter version, so do not put it away! This red is perfect for the middle seasons, and here I have combined it with a red bag and my beloved red vinyl ankle boots that I had already shown you HERE in this winter look.
The nice thing about this dress is not just the lace that adorns the top and the puff effect of the skirt and sleeves, but also the deep décolleté on the back. A clever piece of flesh-colored fabric on the front does not show anything and leaves the dress with the nude-effect and allows you not to wear the bra, so as not to ruin your bare back. The effect of the skirt, then, is perfect for hiding too many dinners on vacation, this is something that I look at a lot in a dress, and I appreciate it as well.
Carrie necklace
A delicate dress needs delicate jewelry. That’s why I wore only my new Carrie Necklace – just like the one of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and The City! – but with my name, in rose gold. Super delicate, I never take it off and always carry it with me. It comes directly from oNecklace and is cheap.. but chic! A beautiful gift for your friends who get married (you can make “couple” incisions with the names of both!) or as a gift for ourselves, because in short, who deserves more?
What do you say, do you like my dress? And even if I won’t get married, I won’t put my (little) white dress away, and you?
