Sometimes I seriously think that the seasons in Ireland are reversed. I turn around and see a typically autumn landscape. Yellow, brown, beige and orange. Or maybe I’m just going crazy? Anyway, the fact is that I took out my beige coat, I wore it once again, and I embellished it with this mouse-colored (faux!) fur collar. A pair of jeans and a striped t-shirt, with matching fedora. And the look is ready. Yes, ready but boring, uh? What they taught me in personal branding trainings is this: always bring with you what makes you unique.
A monogram on my Cambridge Satchel
I decided to wear my new gem, the fluo pink Cambridge Satchel shoulder bag. The English company, famous for its hand-made “postman” bags, has certainly never gone out of fashion, but has made itself felt more strongly in recent years, creating lines not only from school or work, but also for day and evening lives! And I fell in love with this version, shocking pink, which I found at a very low price at Kildare Village, Ireland’s largest outlet (of the same “family” of Fidenza Village). At the village I also managed to have my monogram included in the price of the bag. Et voila, my personalized baby bag!
British accessories
I have paired that bag with another British colossus, the emblem of punk: the Dr Martens. The most resistant, comfortable and cool shoes in the world, revisited in a metallic pink version (or unicorn version, as I call it). Don’t you find they look great with the pink bag? A color that does not match at all with my look, but that makes a scene, no? (You understand what I say, yes?)
Remember: play down and make a “boring” look nice. For when you do not really want to dress up, but you do not want to give up that extra touch, which makes your character unique, that creates your brand. Mine, it’s pink. And yours?

Incredibile quanto si possa raccontare, partendo da un oggetto apparentemente semplice!
Ma che bbella! Da quanto tempo non vedevo una di queste satchel!
