They are one of the trends to the moment, directly from the 90s: vinyl boots. The trendiest model is the one over the knee, tight and super shiny. I have a more “sober” model – if we can say that… maybe it’s just self-conviction! – the ankle boots in vinyl. Red, of course! So now everyone get out to get some red vinyl ankle boots. Com’on!
How to wear red vinyl boots #1: animalier
But how do you match these sober boots? I have worn them in another equally sober look: with a leopard-print fur! Black high-waisted skinny jeans, white t-shirt and fur: a rock look that reminds of Macklemore in the Thrift Shop – this is not really a compliment, but it’s okay.
A rock look
A bit ’90s, a bit KISS, a bit Macklemore, this look that may seem a bit too much, is instead super cool – at least in my opinion. The look is gritty and the two pieces – the leopard fur and the red vinyl ankle boots – that already attract attention alone, complement each other together. In the end, the important thing is to combine super basic pieces, such as black shoulder bag and black trousers and white t-shirt. The line between “particular outfit” and “what the hell is that?” is very thin!
And you, do you like this look a bit gritty and rock? Do you have any red vinyl ankle boots? How do you match them? Soon new looks of different genres but always with a protagonist: vinyl boots!
