Buona giornata a tutti!
Summer dresses are made of fruit
The warm weather is finally arrived and with it our most beautiful summer dress can come out of the closet. This year there is a trend that is particularly en vogue: wearing fruit! Kate Spade New York has created a collection of fruit shaped bags such as oranges, bananas and lemons. Not only that, other designers have created real pattern for their dresses and blouses made of fruit. Then, you’ll say, who is willing to wear a slice of watermelon? Well, I will reply immediately with: I am! Okay, from now on you can close my blog and send me to hell.
Pineapple overflow for my summer dress
I decided to mix this fruitful trend with the evergreen of light and fluttering dresses, high-waist and with a full skirt down to the ankles. Here I am, therefore, with this full-of-pineapples look. I wore this dress without a bra to allow the staple behind the back not to be tainted by an underwire. I can, given my lack of abundance. In any case, however, the breast would not present problems whereas the cups are thick enough to avoid the “evening breeze” effect, which I don’t find sexy at all. The shoes? But of course my new sandals with the low block heel by Primark that I also reinforced with soft sticky pads to make them even more comfortable. Not happy with the amount of pineapple that I carried around with the dress, I also wore a pineapple-shaped bag. I find it tremendously nice and roomy as well! It opens like an egg and you can put inside a lot of stuff! In my opinion, it is perfect for a special evening: a cocktail by the sea or a beach party, why not?
This dress, as other summer clothes of the same kind, can be worn without problems also with flats and large bags: in the last picture, in fact, you can see the same dress worn to go to study in the library with friends, with slippers and a matchy maxi bag: freshness to go!
Do you like the look? Hear: is tremendously low cost! (Which never hurts). And you, have you already bought something with fruit? Good day to all!
